Accidents during your shift

For the well-being of yourself and others, ride carefully to avoid an accident and do not take unnecessary risks.

Important

If you are ever involved in an accident at work and you or others are hurt please call the emergency line 999 to request medical support and the police to report any damage as a police report might be needed to capture details for insurance purposes. Provide as much information as possible to the emergency services so they can send the correct emergency service to you.

Use the Flare App and once it is safe to do so, contact the Live Operation Agent via the Call Disposition emergency line which can be found in your Scoober App. If it if not an emergency please submit a ticket on the app.

Please keep in mind that personal damage means you or another individual are injured.

Material damage means there is damage to an object/item, like an e-bike or a car. Just eat takeaway provide you with insurance.

Please be advised that your commute to work is not considered as part of your working hours.

Insurance: Hub Bike – In the event of an accident you are insured through JustEat Takeaway.

Remote Scooters – You should never undertake a shift without balance on your H&R insurance. This insurance will cover incidents on the road.
