During your shift

Here are rules to keep in mind during your shift:

  • Always park your bike near the restaurant and lock it. Make sure the bike isn’t obstructing others and is in line with the restaurant’s rules and regulations. If your bike does not have an integrated lock please ensure that the bike is locked to an immovable object, such as a bike rack, always check signs to see if it is legal to lock your bike to a certain object.
  • Once you enter the restaurant, remove your backpack and greet the restaurant employees. Let them know which order you are there to collect. Double-check the app and the receipt to confirm you collect the right order. Don’t look inside the meal packages and be careful with the drinks.
  • Carefully place the food in your backpack, ensuring it reaches the customer without any damage. Be extra careful with pizzas. Always separate hot and cold containers where possible. You can enlarge the zippers on the front of your backpack to carry pizza boxes safely.
  • Deliver the food to the customer. Remember to always be friendly, even if they aren’t especially chatty or welcoming!
  • Always confirm in the Scoober app when the restaurant gives you the order, and after you have delivered it to the customer.

Waiting for your next order? Just head to the closest waiting area.
